To decrease poverty by taking away barriers of access to personal finance services, for the unbankable or underbanked communities.
To devoid the world of poverty.
Positiviti, an International Microfinance Peer to Peer Lending company, began working in the Microfinance market in Kenya. Microfinance is the term used to represent the delivery of online personal banking services.
The research and work in the International Microfinance Peer to Peer Lending market taught the leadership of Positiviti that there was an immense need to make microfinance available, and provide financial literacy, to the 1.4 billion of unbanked individuals worldwide.
We learned that one key factor to combat poverty is through achieving financial stability, and to achieve it, individuals need access to personals financial services. Access to microfinance services is key because it boosts the economic activities of low-income populations and therefore contributes to their financial stability.
After much success in the Microfinance market & seeing the circumstances affecting Kenya, a 501(c)3 organization was born, Give A Hand Inc., to give a hand up, not a handout.
During 2023 we have decided to direct our attention to creating our first initiative. The location is Kenya, and our goal is to impact one million families. We learned lessons from the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which is a global strategy researched and adopted by the United Nations. This Agenda includes the utilization of Microfinance as part of a strategy to combat poverty. We agree with the United Nations, through our own experience, that providing a micro-loan to a person, who in turn injects such resource into their micro-business, and makes a profit, creates a pathway to stabilize a family’s economic downturn.
